I'm in the middle of setting up my digital audio with XP Pro and I am finding this way different than Windows 2000. At the moment XP Pro is bypassing my SPDIF out of the CD ROM drive that goes directly to my sound card and is running it through what appears to be the motherboard, with buffering, and then to the soundcard. I have not enabled the re sampling that XP Pro software has offered.
Is there anything I can do about this with XP?
Anyone with experience in XP Pro who might have encountered this, and other issues with XP Pro?
