I know a similar thread was started recently but I would like to be a bit more specific. Has anyone heard any stand mount speakers, under $2000.00 (preferably under $1000.00) that have the kind of speed and clarity of a ribbon speaker, like a VMPS for example, without the limited dispersion characteristics?
Two that kind of interest me because of their attempts at time alignment, which I think is a really good idea, are the Green Mountain Audio Europa and the Odyssey Epiphany II.
