Steve, I still have something wrong. I have both the standard driver and the ASIO driver in Foobar's components folder. When I go to the output section of preferences I get:
-Output
| - Asio(dll version)
| - Direct Sound
| - Wave Out
1) Under output I put - Asio
2) Under Asio I put - M-AudioTransit USB, thread - time critical,
Buffer - 7, Shift Thread - 0, etc.
3) Under Direct Sound I put - M-Audio Transite USB
4) Under Wave Out I put - M-Audio Transit USB
When I do this I get the following console message:
INFO (foo_output_ asio_dll) open, 9600hz, LINNEAR PCM,
24 bits, 2 Channel
ERROR (foo_output_asio_dll): Unsupported sample rate
And of course it does not play!!!!!!!!
If I change the output to Direact Sound I then get music to output however the console reads:
INFO (foo_output_std-dll) Direct sound initialized successfully.
using software version.
Should I remove the standard output driver from the components file
(I think I tried that and got no sound, but I have made so many changes by now that I am not really sure) or perhaps I should just cut my wrists and be done with it

?
