Pretend you're making a pool shot from your listening position and need to bank the cue ball off the front wall and hit your drivers.
Try the panels there if you can.

How do you put the spacer behind the panels at your listening seat? I would like to space the panel out of the wall , probably 1", but couldn't figure out the neat way to do it.

It is pretty easy (If your talking about our stuff aa) just slip a piece of PVC piping, cut to the spacer length, (really anything will work) between the panel and the wall. The weight of the panel will keep it from slipping. Bryan came up with a idea of putting those door stopper type things (feet) on the frames, so maybe down the road we will have something like that.

Right now I'm using thick foam pipe-wrap. Cut it into 1-2" long cylindrical pieces and slit lengthwise. Presto, you now have a foam "C-clip" that'll clip onto the back of the frame.

Maybe in the future I'll look again at something more permanant/attractive.

Your room is set up pretty much like mine, 18 X 12, with the openings, on the short walls.  I was going to place my TV in one of the corners so that it is not between the speakers.  Thank you for the pictures, now I see how acoustic treatment is used in a room like mine. A picture is worth 1000 words

Question for all acoustically inclined,

Trying not to hijack, but the question is related to my prior post, and I am biding time until my equipment arrives. 

Will the use of a tri-corner be negated if I put my TV <angled> in front of it?  If I don't put the TV there, I will put it along the short wall in-front of the slider<with curtains>.  This placement will put the TV at the first reflection point.  Which is the lesser of 2 evils?

It depends on how large and massive the TV is. A small TV on an open frame stand is fine. If it's a huge solid cabinet that you can see is obviously blocking any sound from being able to get to the trap, then not so good.

That's probably a better location anyway.

It's a small room so it was hard to fit things in the pics. Hope the quality is OK, but it'll give you an idea.
From right rear:

Suggestion: try to place the two panels in front of your equipment, between the speakers. Ideally, if you would have more panels, the panels would go from the left speaker to the right speaker such that they acoustically hide the wall behind the speakers while leaving an empty space behind the panels. This is how I got the best results on my system with foam.
