I'm interested in purchasing a well cared for pre/pro to use for 2 channel playback only. It'll only be used in a 2nd system for back ground music while entertaining. I need video switching thus the need for a processor. I'm thinking along the lines of a conservative 7 or better if you're familiar with Audiogon's rating system.
A Rotel RSP-980, RSP-960ax or comparable is what I have in mind. No high dollar units please. A remote is required.
