McIntosh amp for Donald Trump?

No I not Donald Trump - but I think he is one of the few that could afford buying this amp. I don't think he'd buy it though when he could invest this money.  What are the bidders thinking??!!!
Check it out -

Has to be a misprint or a cruel way to get a lot of attention. As good as vintage Mac gear is, nothing in this hobby is worth $12M.

According to the Audio Classics rating, a "perfect" unit is worth about $5000.00.  Of course, I know nothing of Audio Classics, it just came up when I googled the MC-240...

Trump strikes as more of a Bose type. I doubt he listens to anything other than the sound of his own voice. The RCA dog would lift his leg on The Dumbhole.

Funny thing about this auction beside the opening bid of 10,000,000 is that there are 5 bidders and the seller has zero feedback.

Oh, you noticed that too? :-)

Makes me think my mint JBL L-300s may be worth at least 5 mil.

If Trump bought it, he'd leave the price tag on for all to see.

I agree... although I can also see him going for something very conspicuous such as a Wilson Alexandria.

Does this mean the seller will have to pay a few-% ebay fee for a multi-million $$$ item  :rotflmao:

The twelve brothers Dr Evil teamed up...
All of them saying: We''ll bid ONE MILLION DOLLARS!, at the same time..."

And in a Dutch accent: Ja ick need a new member... oh one that has great redundancy and that will glow
in the dark!!!"

ps: It seems that it had a starting bid of 400$, so something did most likely happen yeah...
