The in-laws are looking for a pair of in-wall speakers.  The budget is $250.  I know it's tough asking a hi-fi crowd for suggestions on this.  But I'll try anyway.  Any suggestions?  :D

Thanks a bunch.

ACI has in-wall speakers for under $100 each.  I read a review and they are said to do fine unless you try to play them very loud.

SpeakerCraft, Niles, Klipsch, and Boston.  I have had the Niles and speakercraft's in a prior home, but now use Triad for some side surrounds in the ceiling.  I actually found the Klipsch in-ceiling/inwalls to be not too bad.  The extra hot highs made it sound better at low background music levels, than say the Boston's did.

Speakercraft is kind of a specialty mfg, but they produce some good inwalls.

I use Tannoy m2iw's for my rear speakers in a surround system and like them very much.  They will about max out the budget but are nice and pretty easy to install.  The baffles come in white primer and can be painted to match the wall color or left white.  I have also heard good things about Speakercraft, but don't have personal experience with them.

I recommended Paradigm's for my sister and bro-in-law and they've been very happy for a few years now.  However, they listened to them before buying them which helped.
Good luck!

I have some B&W in ceiling surrounds which are really nice.  They also have in-wall models.  They might be a lilttle over-budget though.

Thanks, guys.  I'll get started on researching/auditioning the ones suggested.  Thanks again.
