Vintage Sunburst - 57' Humbucker's - Original Hard Case
Hi and thanks for looking. This is a Mint/played 2 hrs Gibson ES-135 Semi-Hollow Body Electric Guitar in Vintage Sunburst Finish. I purchased this guitar new, it has not been played and has remained in its case since it was received. The Gibson ES-135 w/ 57' Hmbucker Pickups features a laminated Maple body, single-ply binding, chrome hardware, 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays, Maple neck, tune-o-matic bridge, a solid center block to help prevent feedback and more.
The ES-135 combines the most popular new guitar features of the '50s, including the thinline cutaway body and two pickups, with such modern innovations as a center block and stacked humbuckers. The only true authentic, vintage humbucker reissue available, the limited edition ES-135 features the famous "Patent-Applied-For" '57 humbuckers instead of the original P-100's.
A Gibson factory hard-shell case is included. The combination has not been set.
As you may know, Gibson have discontinued the 135, they'd rather you bought the (technically inferior but more expensive) 335 or 137. Consequently, 135s are becoming rarer, more collectable and more valuable with time. The 135 is a well kept secret, one of Gibson's best electro-acoustics and a better all-round guitar than the 335 and 137 in my opinion. The 135 is the cream of the crop great tone, and beautiful wood.

Select the neck pick-up for laid back blues and jazzy tones, increase the gain for a more chicago blues sound. The neck pup is ideal for soloing work and the combination offers a great pallette of rock and pop tones. Whether you want to play rock, blues, pop, jazz, country, whatever, this guitar will take you there in spades.
