Hello Guys,
I thought I would bring this to your attention. This coming Tuesday, is "Fat Tuesday" (Mardi Gras) and it will be celebrated in style at Dodie’s Seafood Café II,Captain Humble's restaurant in Carrollton (Dallas area). I'm on his email list, so I receive notices for events and specials....and this one is a good one. :hyper:

Having eaten at his place, I know how good the food is....I just wish I lived closer :( ....but since you guys are in the area, stop by and check it out.
Good food, good live music, and a fun time.
Here are some photo's from his Gallery of last years party...... :green:
And heres the email notice :

Mardi Gras Madness 5

February 20th

The party takes place in both the restaurant and under the tent.

BAD WEATHER NO PROBLEM!

The tent is heated so regardless of the weather conditions we’ll celebrate Mardi Gras in comfort.

We’ve tripled the size of the entry way this year so the line should move much quicker.

We’ve added another tent for food in order to alleviate the bottle neck near the bar.

PLEASE BRING CASH.

The Trinity River Basin Band

Captain Humble, you're probably still recovering right now, but I hope the party went off without a hitch!  Dodie's has fantastic food, and with the rest of the entertainment listed, you guys must have had a blast!  It would have been fun to make the trip, but things have just been too busy lately.

Lonewolf, thanks for the link!
