After all the positive reviews on the DAC-60 I was considering it.
My first choice till now was the Benchmark...which I've found the most positive reviews including from John Atkinson at Stereophile.

Has anyone been able to comapre these two DAC's?

Isn't one advantage of the Benchmark (and the Lavry for that matter)  the greater number of connecions possible?

I have had one customer replace his Benchmark with the DAC-60. Maybe he'll turn up with comments.

Steve Nugent (Empirical Audio) has done extensive mods to both units and his new favorite is the DAC-60 as well. Maybe he can offer some comments.

And the DAC 60 is half the money of a Benchmark, now that really is saying something if it's even better.  aa
