I did see it. I ordered one in from Full Compass to take a look at it about the same time I ordered the Hagerman Bugle.
It uses one 4558 IC, 1 diode for rectification on the PS and a bunch of cheap electrolytics for couplng.
It really isn't going to be any better than the phono section in a cheap receiver.
Everything on the board would have to be ripped out and replaced. You would be paying $40.00 for a circuit board with not that great a circuit on it.
The Bugle is the best buy in a phono section.
I have been listening to the MMF-5 through mine and it sounds outstanding!
I will be using it with a K&K Audio step-up transformer with my new Shelter 501 MK 2 for awhile until I get the Cornet built.
