Well the smaller room wasn't a square like the larger room and he did take out all the equipment.

Both of those changes would help improve the sound every time.

For me it really shows just how much a room is involved in the overall sound of a rig. One would think that with the bigger room and little in the way of the speakers that the speakers would sound better but that is not the case here. That wall of LPs is way cool

Seriously? It looks to me that he is dealing with what he's got available and is trying to get the most out of the gear he owns in his rooms. Plus that big room looks like an inviting space to listen the way he had it for two-channel, but hey, I'm a little envious.
