my 25 year old dl-103 is gone,  should I get the dl-103 R version?

The title says it all!   I loved the 103,  should I pay a bit more and go for the R version?

I'm using a jolida jd-9 phono stage,  It has enough gain for even the lowest MC's :thumb:   

TT is a thorens td-321 with SME 3009 .
