What are the top 10 loudspeaker brands in terms of name recognition in the Home Theater market or in general?

I suspect Bose, Infinity, and Polk would in the list and perhaps Boston Acoustics, PSB and Paradigm?

RBH Sound, a nearly 30 year old company with a better price-performance ratio (in my opinion as an owner of some of their product) than many of the other 10.

JBL.  What about Sony, Panasonic, JVC, Yamaha, and Pioneer?  I think they all have HTiB or other speakers.

Mass market, not sure but the list above is probably pretty close (bose, dt, etc.)

I'll tell you that when I do Home Theater Room designs for my customers, by far and away 80% or more are one of (in no particular order):

- Def Tech
- Klipsch
- Paradigm
- Axiom
- Ascend
- Polk

Others that seem to pop up regularly:
