Chime DAC

Jim, can a tos link imput be added to the Chime?  I like to run my SATV through the DAC and it only has a tos link out.
Thanks, Guy

Is the SATV spitting out 44.1k?  Or some sort of encoded surround sound format?  I'm sure a toslink could be added, I just never looked into it.  Performance is too low.  Not something I would consider for high-end.  That's why I left it off in the first place.

I'm not sure what it splits out, some channels/shows are in stereo and some I believe are PMC.  I realize the tos link is no where near as good however with a  DAC it is always much better than the analog outputs to the pre.  I wonder how hard it would be to change out the tos link in the SATV to a coax??????????
