Has anyone done comparisons with the Cayin CDT 17a? I am looking for a new CD player and it's on my list of potentials.
What I would ask other audiophiles out there-
if you have demo'ed the player- if so- what did you think?
and/or
done comparisons with other CD players.

I will demo before buying but would like some opinons.

I brought a Cayin CDT-17A to the January NY Audio Rave.  I'm a Cayin dealer, so I won't comment on it, but there are some comments about it sprinkled in this thread:

I was at the Rave meeting and can report the Cayin showed itself well in the system at hand.For $2000 its a must listen.
