YBA design

Is anyone using a YBA YA201 integrated?  It sure is aesthetically pleasing, but does it sound  as good as the line that it replaced?

It sounds better IMO than the Audio Refinement Complete line that it replaces.  The Absolute Sound favorably reviewed the integrated amp and CD player.  The review may be on line at their web site.

I used to own an Audio Refinement Complete.  I was interested in the new YBA Design, but no HT bypass.

I wish more integrated amplifier manufacturers these days would realize that integrating 2-channel with HT is becoming increasingly popular.

It would not surprise me that they might be throwing away 30%+ additional sales by not having this feature.

Thanks for the reply. I will look for that review.  I have that Bill Evans.  I have not heard of Loreena, is she jazz?

I totally agree!  However they are coming out with a YBA design 7 channel integrated (YA701) as well as a 7.1 pre/pro (YP701) and a 7-channel  power amp (YB701), so HT afficionados are covered....

Loreena McKennitt - maybe a cross between New Age and Celtic.  Think Clannad.  A couple of her CDs used to be very big with audiophiles.  After a brief infatuation, I no longer can stand her or this type of music.  Sorry.
