Wayne, have you measured your cables for capacitance?

Does it matter to you?

Obviously they sound good to your ears (and all your customers!).

I notived a big difference between your old digicable and your new one (with Bullet Plugs).  That doesn't happen to me often.

I wanted to see how many other cable manufacturers were using Bullet Plugs and noticed a lot of these guys mention capacitance.

Just curious.

The capacitance of the digital cable is 16.2 pF/FT

The main difference in sound between the Bullet Plugs and the Canare isn't capacitance, I believe. It is the lesser amount of metal surounding the signal bearing conductor. Having a hollow center conductor and just a small pin for the ground connection reduces the amount of interaction of the magnetic fields generated by the signals. I feel this is what accounts for the less "smeared" sound of the Bullet Plugs.

Is this true for analog cables as well?  What do you think are the hallmarks of the M-80s?  Right now I'm using Coincident CST ICs, but I think I might have the Bullet Plug bug.  :?
