For sale is a wonderful audiophile level preamplifier, the Adcom GFP-750. It has a processor loop enabling switching between 2 channel and a home theater system. It has performed wonderfully, producing the sound thats mentioned in all the reviews. It is pretty transparent, allowing the sound of your other components to be the main coloring factor in reproduction.
Exterior is perfect, no mars except for usual wear on the small gold plate. The unit was recently serviced to repair the gain stage, and has since performed perfectly. All phases and switches work perfectly, no performance issues at all. The unit is good as new, and peforms flawlessly. Designed by the legendary Nelson Pass, it is one of Adcom's best ever.
Usual selling price on Audiogon runs about $750, with units often at higher levels. I'm only asking $730 plus shipping, since service was performed on it (this alone cost $150). Original price was $1250. I've since moved to an integrated, so this is no longer used.
