I was tempted by both of these!

Has anyone compared these older designs to the RM 2 or RM 40? My guess is that these older models play very loud without congestion, but do not have the detail and refinement of the newer ribbon models -- but that is only a guess.

They are obviously both great deals!

The Supertower III received a rave review in Absolute Sound in about 89. Being familiar with the older versions of VMPS I can assure anyone either of these speakers will blow about anything else out of the water for the money.
