I have one completely dual mono stereo amp for sale. This stereo amp is based on the UCD 400 modules. 200 watts a channel into 8 ohms. This amp is VERY TWEAK. As you can see by the photos....it was WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY to hard to make and manufacture. Only one of these all out stereo units was made. Several monos and lesser stereos were made but this stereo unit is ALL OUT.
Each channel has:
Super expensive 500 watt Plitron main transformer mounted on plywood off the chassis mounted with Bronze non- magnetic bolt.
50 watt toroid mounted with bronze hardware for the separate regulated front end.
Super soft recovery diodes used in all power supplies (damped) .
All super expensive Jensen 4 pole caps as main power supply caps in both supplies (4 per channel).
WBT Nextgen input connectors.
Bypassed Eichmann cable pod output connectors....output wires run through grommets in the chassis and are tinned and wrapped around the outside of the binding posts for the "no post" sound. Better than any binding post in the world.
All input and output wires are custom litz.
All power supply wiring is Cryoed Audio Magic.
UCD modules mounted onto chassis via large piece of brass for vibrational damping.
UCD modules modified with Blackgate caps, hand made custom output coils, better output filter caps, custom current sources on the front end, etc.
Damping of many parts with constrained layer damping material.
All hand/hard wired....no push on connectors are used.
Mute switch on rear.
100K input impedance and 26db (20X) gain. I can raise the gain for you if you need it. Amp weighs 35lbs and measures 16x16x4.
Comes with 14 gauge Volex shielded power cord....pretty good for a stock cord!
