I made up a pair of solid core speaker wires, teflon insulated as apposed to enameled (a la Anti-cable). It's a real pain to twist them nicely, 3/4 turn per foot. It had to tape them together at intervals or they don't stay "in shape". I don't know if this was a mistake or even matters. I would like to dress them with cotton sleaves but this seems to be a no-no. I can't for the life of me understand why but am willing to believe if wiser heads say so. I would really appreciate feedback on both these issues, especially the twisting. I did this really carefully but am not satisfied with the result. Maybe I'm making much about nothing but they sound so good that I just want to be sure I'm getting the most out of them. Thanks
