Picked up my Nitty Gritty 2.5fi today!

I bought a bunch of $1 records over the weekend and they were in good shape, but dirty. The NG made 'em look like new!

I'm glad I sprung for the model with the resevoir. Much better than manually applying the cleaning solution. Got the nice smoked acrylic cover, too. Looks great!

I have a Hybrid 2 which is similar to the 2.5 with the addition of a CD cleaning adaptor.

Great looking and performing, easy to use machines.

It probably should be mentioned, though, that record-cleaning machines are noisy, which might turn some people off. You can't really listen to one LP (at least intently) while cleaning the next one.

VERY noisy !
I use earplugs if I have a lot of LPs to clean.

Plus the Nitty Grittys atomize the RCF very effectively so work in a well ventilated room.

I got a good deal from my regular audio dealer. I wasn't able to find a better one online.

Upscale Audio has NG "Blems" on their website. That's where I got mine; Kevin will only give you the price on the phone (I believe) since his prices are below dealer cost. I couldn't spot any blemish on the unit I got.

Can't remember the exact price, but it was quite a bit off retail.
