Okay folks, it was hard waiting till 2007 to release the new MK II Bella EXtreme 3205 but the time is here. For some time now I have been working on a new circuit design for the input stage. I had decided on the 12AU7 over two years ago. The new Bella EXtreme 3205 MKII now utilizes a Modified Mu stage that has been optimized for the 12AU7 tube. What this brings to the table is even lower distortion and a more linear response. Keep in mind that you can no longer use any of the other *12 series* tubes (12AX7, 12AT7, etc) as the circuit was designed exclusively for the 12AU7 and the other tubes cannot handle the current that the AU7 can be run at.
I have 2 of these units that have been running in my showroom for several months with the first consumer purchased MK II (by an Audio Circle member as well) going out the door tomorrow morning. A few pieces have already been presold under the radar to existing customers prior to the official release.
