i just had my first bad internet experience. i live in perth western australia and i ordered a reconditioned trumpet from the us. i had problems almost from the word go and it took the company over 4 weeks just to send the trumpet to me (it is for my daughter). i actually thought i had done my $
anyway just received the trumpet today and it is not in anywhere near as good as condition as i was lead to believe. there are a few dings and the lacquering is pretty pathetic. it does however play well and the valve action is fine.
i guess i always have the chance to return it to the company but by the time i include shipping charges it really isn't worth it. i guess i just have high expections and other people don't.
you live and learn, no more internet transactions for me. i feel a little disappointed as it was for me daughter. i have sent a fairly polite email back to the manager of the company, telling him how disappointed i was.
