I just bought Druid, single-driver speaker of 101db at 12 ohm.

I will apreciate your guidance on which specific 300B SET model you know of that would have best synergy in my 11x16 room. I listen to jazz, vocals and acoustic instruments, and like warm lush magical midrange. Or any 2A3 or 45 amp you have heard that may have better execution? Prefererably the amp can be directly connected to CD player, without a preamp

I wish I had my Yamamoto when I had my Druids.  I've heard the Druids like power even though they don't *need* it.  The Druids have a warmish signature which might get mushy with a particularly euphonic amp, which certainly can happen with 300Bs.  Is there anyone locally that might be able to bring some amps over for evaluation?
