Anyone familiar with Bozak speakers?
« on: 21 Dec 2006, 01:48 am »
The Bozaks have always been on my list of things to buy given the right situation.  I may have a local pair of Bozak B-4000A vintage symphony speakers available.  I'm wondering how these compare to say the Bozak Concert Grand which I've heard and liked and always wanted to buy when I had the space.  Some say any Bozak is good but I've only heard the Concert Grands.

Thanks

Berndt

Might try the vintage circle here, I believe these speakers qualify for "vintage"?
I see people talk about bozaks in the dollars and sense forum at AK pretty regularly as they pop up on craigslist once a month here.

I have a pair of Bozaks that were made in 1955.  I got them at the shop that does repairs for me.  I walked in and they were playing Jacques Louisser on the piano.  Next thing I know the owner was helping me load them in my truck.  They have a 12" woofer, 6" mid, and 2 tweeters on a bracket the goes across the woofer.  I thought I would really get in trouble when I got them home but after listening to them my wife liked them enough to invite them to stay in the living room.  I like them very much.
