I'm looking for a couple things. A 1080i to 1080i processor to go in between my HD DVD player and my direct view Panny. I'm wondering if I can get even better color depth and shadow detail if I run the video through a processor first. I am also looking for an affordable upscaler to 1080i for my DVD player. I currently have an upscaling Toshiba player that does a great job, but I'm wondering how far I could push it if i added an outboard scaler. Are there any that are relatively inexpensive that would give me a better image? Thanks guys.
