Mactone - Japanese valve amplifiers
« on: 13 Dec 2006, 06:11 pm »
hi there! I' m Dimitris from Greece. Have a Musical Fidelity Amp + CD based home stereo , with Vienna Accoustics (Mozart) speakers.
I' m thinking of an upgrade for the amp. and have read a lot about this Japanese manufacturer Mactone.
Has anyone heard one - or owns one that would give me more informations from experience?

Thank you!

Hi Dimitris.
I belive the user "sk" on www.audioasylum.com used to be an mactone importer.
You could check see if he could tell you stuff about them.

Here's a link to the importer.  Be prepaired for high prices.  When I checked into an EL34 integrated a few years ago, it was over $4K.
