One Show

My Morning Jacket 12/02/06 Avalon Boston, MA

If you have not heard this band and like good ole rock and roll I suggest you pick up there album "Z". Jim James has an absolutely amazing vocal range and is a damn fine song writer to boot. The show was great and the band was TIGHT. When it comes to live rock acts that I have seen lately Wilco has to be the standard of tightness that all others are judged by and MMJ came very close. Highlights were "Wordless Chorus" and "Gideion"

One set three disks

Phish Colorado '88

Great stuff right here! If you like this band this is a must if you have never heard them I would still re comend it.  Lets you hear some classic songs when they were first coming together to the way we know and love them.  Highlights include Phish powerhouses "Fluffhead", YEM and "Mikes Groove" as well as classic Phish covers such as Robert Palmer's "Sneakin Sally Through the Ally" and Traffic's "Light up or Leave me Alone" Anyway get these disks. One side note the disks were produced from cassette tape soundboard recording(I think) so some of the tracks do have a good "hiss" in the background. For me the music by far out weighs this annoyance but YAMMV(your audiophile milage may vary)...
