I can appreciate the passion, the vision, the stamina and the intellectual endurance to make something of this calibre. It is incredible. This is an unreasonable, unyielding man - a private obsession teetering on lunacy, but something also of great beauty, a triumph of the human spirit.
This is the same extraordinary quality which leads people to build huge corporations, climb unassailable mountains, and persevere with intractable problems of the physical world, like the fusion of hydrogen, or the construction of the Space Shuttle.
He's quite a guy...... thanks for the second look!
