Seems Dared Audio offers a similar product called the MP-5 which they say is better than the Fatman.

Hey!

     Well, guess what? They are both pretty much the same thing. I think Fatman is a relabled Dared Audio. :D

     Seem like a funny and expensive way to listen to your MP3 to me. :roll:

Looks like a great idea to me. Remember, iPods can play uncompressed wav or aiff files as well as Apple lossless.

It also has proper speaker binding posts, not those horrible spring clip jobs. At 13 watts/per channel, just add your favorite high efficiency horn loaded speakers and you could have a real kick ass jukebox.
