If you can afford the Dodds, you might also want to look at Quicksilver Audio's top of the line. These are also hand-made, point-to-point wired. They look good on the outside and the inside also reveals a very high build quality. I heard a pair at RMAF and was instantly drawn to them, except for the small problem of $4895. The mfr, Mike Sanders, has been in this business since 1981! There are relatively short waiting lines (4-6 weeks) and deliveries are on time, if that matters.
