Recently, I visited two audiophiles (on separate occassions), and coincidentally, both used the same track of music as one of the pieces they demoed their system with. I had heard this track once before a few years ago, but on each occassion, somehow I ended up forgetting to ask what the track was and who sang it.
The track starts with sounds of some children playing in a playground. A saxophone starts playing, and eventually it is a track with a great female vocal on it. To me, it sounded like a cross between Jennifer Warnes and Patricia Barber. Sound familiar to anyone?
