No, sorry, guess I should have been more specific.

I had told you awhile back that I was experiencing some issues with regards to a defective receiver chip.

The unit was sent out Monday, so it's probably at your facility as we speak.

Yes we have the BP26 and we are checking it out at this moment.

I should also metion another symptom to maybe help in finding the problem, is I've also notice the sound sometimes to be tiny, like there is a fuzzy bell ringing in the background.

You may have to open the CD drawer to establish the signal over and over again before you will actually hear the sonic discrepancy.

Did you happen to notice the problem with the BP26 I was talking about while you had it home for those couple of days?

Yes I did - it sounded like it lacked dynamic contrasts and was rolled off.
We have installed a new DAC for you and the preamp is on the way back.

your quality control and customer service has been outstanding in this matter.

So yourself and the engineering dept was in agreement that the DAC was the main cause of the problem?

Did AC power descrepancies have anything to do with the demise of the DAC, or was it just defective?

When was it shipped out by the way?..... Kind of anxious.  aa

CS8421 DAC was defective. I believe it went out Friday.
