Does anyone use a Denon PMA 2000IVR as a stand alone amp?

I am  curious as to whether any of you use the PMA 2000IVR as a stand alone amp without another pre-amp?

I have read the Denon's preamp is not really thet good but the Denon seems to offer ggod build quality and a lot of bang for the buck.

Any comments would be appreciated.

i have only used the denon with a tube preamp and it was a great combo.
