Realistic "Minimus 26" speakers!
« on: 17 Nov 2006, 01:17 am »
I received a pair of these old speaks about 2 years ago and have had them in my garage for about a year and I must say, they amaze me! :o Even more now that I am re-extracting all my Cd's at a 256kbit rate versus the 128kbit rate I extracted them at last year.
I have no idea of their age, but dam they have quite a good sound. Full tight bass, mid and decent highs. I have them up near the ceiling of my garage so I have no idea what kind of soundstage they would produce. Amazing! :duh:
Here is a link to a set for sale on Ebay (not mine) so you could see a picture of them,

After looking at the Realistic speaks for sale on Ebay, it amazes me how many different speaker's Realistic produced. They even show a horn model and an electrostat model. They seem to be a bit experimental/ahead of there time! :o
