Inexpensive DD Decoder
« on: 14 Nov 2006, 11:11 pm »
I'm looking for a cheeeeep stand-alone dolby digital decoder.  All I need is spdif in and six channel analog out.  I'll use it to decode the DD output from my HDTV tuner for my multi-channel analog preamp.

Volume control and remote control would be nice but not necessary.  Small, cheap plastic mass-market boxes are totally acceptable.  I've looked at some of the outboard multichannel USB boxes with dolby digital, but I don't want to have to turn on a PC for the decoder to work.

Anything out there like this for around $100?
