I am seeking advice on the Rega 2 and 3.  As I am on a tight budget I wonder is there much difference between these two models, sonically?  

If I upgraded to a better cartridge later on could I get a good result with the Rega 2 as to a standard 3?

hi bluesky,

for a couple of hundred bucks more you should buy the rega 3.  i had a rega 2 and it used to feed back all the time even at modest listening levels.

i should never have listened to my wife, she wanted to save money.
