Given the room is 3x3m, you'll have a pretty big resonance peak just below 60Hz (and smaller ones at 120Hz, and 180Hz). Is there any value in a simple notch filter at the resonance node? Obviously you could not hope to fix the response entirely but it would help reduce the oversupply of bass at that particular frequency. An adjustable notch filter would be required so you could vary its strength by ear until it sounded reasonable.
I also have my audio equipment in a 3x3m room, and it sounds much better in a larger space! (6.5" woofers definitely too big for the environment.. tempted to make some new speakers with 5.25" woofers instead!).

Thank you for the suggestions, but I'm very happy with my new speakers! There's no bass problem, they roll-off at 70hz....
Problem is, that the amplifier i'm using sounds very boring with these speakers, my dads tube amps are much better!
