I wonder how much of that is "cabinets" for the drivers and what kind of volume calculations were done. They look drum shaped but also like there are no ports.

"Chia Nautilus" Hmm, should be ready to eat in, say, 3-4 days?

Well, the "copying" syndrome is everywhere. Don't tell me only Asians like to copy.

The different between Asian countries and the US is the law enforcement. There is hardly any enforcement in Asia, nobody takes patent seriously. There's also not many lawsuits in Asia, even if you find people copying your stuff, there's generally lack of incentive to sue.

So, Do you think this is just another coincidence from a chinese company ? IMHO, Asia normally copies whatever (from cars, to electronics) and later they find it´s own path

as far as the usher power amps looking like old threshold amps, the patents have run out on the threshold amps so anyone can legally use the design.
so if you really like the way it looks what's wrong with using it?  besides they have changed the circuit configuration.

30 years ago it was the Japanese learning from imitation and using hardworking lowly paid help to kick economic butt, then Korea and Taiwan, now its China and southeast Asia.  Eventually they'll  succumb to the rewards of capitalism well done (wealth) too.  Hopefully before we (the U.S.) is beaten up too badly.

In the last century science has come from the West, but technology has come mostly from the East.  The West invented the car, radio, TV, etc. but its the East that eventually perfected what consumers want with high quality and low price.
