D200s and high inductance speaker cable
« on: 11 Nov 2006, 11:29 pm »
Dusty,
A dumb question maybe, but I'm considering trying a speaker cable for use with D200s on the woofer module of my biwire speakers. This speaker cable is described as being relatively high inductance, but I'd only be using 12" or so from amp to speaker. Is there any reason that the D200s won't respond well to a high inductance cable?

I'd think not, due to the short length and the low frequencies involved, but whaddya think?

Thank you very much for your help.

I doubt 12" piece of wire could have enough inductance to cause a problem.
