Funny how a guy who thought two separate cables of the same size and make would sound different enough to disqualify an A\B test, but didn't think room treatment would do anything!

:rotflmao:

Ahh that's rich... :P  I kid I kid, but I'm glad the pillows helped out, Pez!

You missed a couple of forums in posting your link to the review

Good work though.
8th nerve sounds like a terrific company - both in service and product.

You need to hear the room to understand seriously. It was quiet before, now it's very quiet.

Hey Thanks! We try.

The funny thing is that Jason (a.k.a Pez) is a great guy and a pleasure to talk to on the phone--totally different than his "in your face" posting at AC would indicate.. :rotflmao:

Now, can we please get back to the main topic--making fun of people's mothers?  :nono:  8)    :|

Cheers,
Bill

I met Pez, er, Jason on a trip to Denver.

He comes across as really nice guy in person (without a keyboard to hide behind   )

Havin' some fun today in Houston though.   The outside AC unit gave up the ghost.....good thing it's not REALLY hot yet.   Found a tech to come out first thing tomorrow a.m. thankfully.   Hoping for a double-digit repair bill instead of the worst-case 4 digit one....

Pez's Ears...
Well, we always knew Jason had good hearing but he stunned the crowd today.

There were 5 of us visiting a gentleman with a very nice system and all of a sudden Jason walks across the room and tells me that the lower woofer in our hosts RM-40's is failing. I did not hear any of the type of noise speakers make when they are dying but he insisted. Damned if he wasn't right. Part of the surround was separating from the basket and he could hear the tiny puffs of air escaping from about 15 ft while the system was playing at a pretty high level. Sad to say none of the rest of us "older, more experienced" audiophiles could spot it. I thought the bass was a little fuzzy but put it down to room interaction or speaker tuning.

Oh to have the ears I did 20 years ago.... enjoy them while they last Jason.
