Now this is better done.
May be I was not phrasing the first post very well.
It was not meant to be that highstanding.

Still around.

Scorpion,

I agree wholeheartedly that the more technical discussions are good, and I welcome the input of those
coming from the more technical side of boxes.

As a result of the B200 filter thread, I finally got around to trying some active correction on a pair of
mine and they are sounding sweet.  I've also gained a fresh perspective in the area of edge diffraction,
and a better understanding of the causes and differences related to driver size will, I believe, lead to
some hidden gains that the tech side has yet to define via the math.

For those who are new or just haven't taken the leap, don't get bogged down in technical stuff.  Great
results can be had with simply a driver on a rectangular piece of plywood that you can create in 10 minutes.
That first shot, as long as you get some semblance of bass, is a real eye opener.  :o

Bob,

I saw Erling's first post this morning and was thinking about a relevant response during the day.  Then the post disappeared and the message shown above was left.  I have no idea what caused the change or why Erling seems to be leaving.  He has some nice ideas and a good understanding of OBs, his contributions will be missed.

You are correct Martin. I've read his posts on a few forums. He is wise.
I'd like to see him stay, although I understand "personality conflicts".
I didn't think it was that bad of an issue though.

It will be a shame to lose him, he and I have had a few, (for me), enlightening thread responses. Not sure what pissed him off, but perhaps he will reconsider??

I don't think there was an issue.  He probably was responding to a PM or something
and accidentally edited his post as he was logging off the computer and just hasn't
been back yet to realise what happened.  His post was quite positive, to which
Corloc and I both replied agreement.  I edited mine so people would have a clue
about the topic of his post.

Thanks for those words and the reactions.
I thought that I had expressed me to high-soaring which was not the intention.
So I tried to remove the post but that is evidently not possible if you start a thread.
Now it looks a bit curious. The goodbye was not to be in the post at all.
