Cheap DACS that work well for 2 ch audio & DVD movies

i watch a fair amount of dvd movies in two channel and listen to music through the same system. please offer some suggestions as to what dacs i could consider in the price range of up 400$. I definatly like the idea of battery powered.
Also what are the requirements for a dac to process dvd 2 channel audio?

Second on the Lites.

I own the baby of the bunch, the Lite-AH and it works fine with movies.
