Yeah please someone tell us how they are! I am quiet curious. I really enjoyed Tommy and also Bat out of Hell. I am not entirely sure what else to say but I certainly would like to know if they are worth picking up.

unityaudio.ca had the WHO streaming yesterday on its radio station.. not sure about today.

I listened to some of Unity Radio but they played a bunch of stuff I could not stomach too well last night. I hope none of it was The Who or Meatloaf :thumb:.

I found some of The Who to listen too though. I am going to have to find some of Meat Loaf too.

I guess Meat Loaf is in the new Tenacious D movie!

Hmmm.  I'm not a huge Meatloaf fan, but I do have a vinyl copy of Bat out of Hell.

As far as the Who is concerned, I don't know if the new album is worth picking up, but if you only have Tommy- you are likely better served by just going back and cherrypicking some of their classics-  My Generation, Who Sell Out, Who's Next, Quadrophenia to name a few.

The new Who album got a begrudgingly positive review on allmusic.com, although the comment that they should be called The Two rather than The Who really fits in my mind.  I'd second the notion to go back (way back) first if you want more Who than Tommy.  Who's Next was my personal favorite, although I overplayed it so much in the seventies that I still don't need to hear it again.
