System Number Three
« on: 1 Nov 2006, 04:57 pm »
Hey Gassers - I haven't posted anything in a while, but I'm often checking the boards -

Got the freakin' bug again (damn!) and decided to add a third system.  Wanted to go with a lot of power this time, vs. the 40 and 60 watt systems I currently have.  Went with the Musical Fidelity A5 Integrated (250 watts) from Walter at Underwood HiFi, along with a pair of Quad 22L's.  From what I've read, this should kick some serious ass for the $$, and based on everything I've been able to find out online, I got a very good price on the two.  Still enjoying the EL34's daily though.  Can't see ever parting with this one, still sounds soooooo good.  Hope to meet you guys at Scott's Xmas Bash.

I'll keep you posted.

Kirch,
I've lost track. What were systems 1 and 2?
