Montreal - April 2007!!

Montreal - April 2007!!

While I am still on a Colorado Rocky Mountain high (oooh, that's bad!) I just want to mention to anyone interested that the Montreal FSI (Festival Son et Image) will be held
in April 2007.  I have never attended the show but Montreal is my hometown and I can tell
you that the Hotel is smack dab in the middle of beautiful downtown Montreal.  Many familiar names will be exhibiting along with others that may be new to you.
It is early but maybe some of the AC members will want to plan on being there.

What do you mean brrrrr?
Colorado in October was no Honolulu!
Woke up Sunday morning with snow and ice on the car and it was pretty cold.
Actually mid April in Montreal can be quite nice.
Besides - the electric energy formed in the hotel will keep things toasty I'm sure.

Hey Spirit,

I'm good. How was the show? Of course would have loved to been there, but I can probably swing going to MTL.

Yeah, I'd love to hear your impressions on the OB 7. I have my AV/3's on loan to a client who's interested in new speakers. I'm about a third of the way done building my OB 5's. I'm anxious to hear them.

Yeah, let's start planning a get together soon, I'm all ears! :P

I went to the FSI last year.. only was able to spend half an afternoon there but it was a blast.  Many of the usual suspects from the circles were there although I didn't have time to chat  :cry:

i'll be back for more in April 2007 as I just moved here... if it's cold outside there are no shortage of indoor activities  :lol:  (and yes, if it is colder than you know what.. you can get around the town via underground metros and malls)

I haven't seen too many montrealers here but if we have some interest we should try to hold our own get together for a jam and compare with the big boys... don't know  if any of your toronto folk want to haul stuff up... maybe something to discuss come Feb.

Time to bump this one up because the show is less than two months away. I'm not 100% certain that I'll be able to make it but I'm certainly hoping to. I went two years ago and it was great so I'm definitely looking forward to it this year. Anyone else from a/c planning on going as well?

careful on that one vinnie... if baby comes then probably wife does too and montreal is a shopping mecca :o

I think we've got about a half dozen or so TAAS members that are going to MTL.
