Hi all, I have an old Linn 75W amp which I have had for oooh about 10 years now. Still works. Was wondering if any one knows of any good mauds on this amp like caps and connectors and such? Thanks.

Hi Ray,

I guess nobody knows much about Linn amps!!   :D

I would think replacing all the PS electrolytic caps would be the first thing ... with Nichicon KG or, if you can afford them and still get them, Black Gates.  Some people swear by Panasonics, too (although I've never tried them).

If the Linn has nickel-plated RCAs or inferior binding posts then you could think about replacing them although I would that would only give you a minor improvement, compared to recapping the PS.  I use Vampire CMHex RCA sockets and Vampire BPs.
