What impressed you and what are your thoughts....

Ahahahahah!  You know me so well, you say...
Nothing more coming home than came out except cash.  Has been a brutal weekend for sleep, but glorious cameraderie.  Lots of great folks from here and elsewhere.
I've burnt my wick low, from both ends, so thought to reflect on the drive and give you more then.
Simply, so many great meetings that made it all worthwhile, to say the least.

Then again, I'm leaving an SB3 to get modded.... 8) It won't look any different, and I'm 'lending it' for a while. (thanks for the idea, LW!)

Now, why didn't you ask Bryan????  :green:

heheheh

Best, if tired, regards,
DeadFish

A modded SB3 is almost like getting something new!
Glad to hear you had a great time, I just wish I could have made it out. I really really wanted too.
Maybe next year?!>
We need to get together and do some listening, as I am about to *GULP* put most of my stuff into storage for a while. I am trying to save some coin so I can build a house so I am *downsizing* my current apartment and moving in with my girlfriend. Imagine a week after finally getting a new to me DAC, I am putting stuff in storage. I imagine a set of bookshelves, the dac, the SB3 and my tube int will find a small corner to reside in aa

Talk to you soon my friend.

By all means, Jamie, you need to come over and unlax with some tunes!!!
And as for putting your stuff in storage, 'lo siento, amigo!' So sorry to hear!  But with good reason.  But if you ever need to drag it someplace to listen to it now and then, again, you are welcome.

Enjoying my time, is so mild a statement, compared to the mania still beating in my chest!
Not only all the other stuff everyone else has spoken on regarding gear, but the meeting, the greeting and toasting with others of like minds is at least as important.
My personal gestault from start to finish is one destined to a tale to be posted soon, once I get my brains stuffed back in my head and a little rest.
Goin' to the show is the 'peak' experience for me, and it will take serious issues for me to miss next year.

Too many amps, not enough ears. (or time!)
Hot stuff!
Amp was (supposedly) my next gotta-have, but once again, I'm sidetracked.

Well, I gotta admit I left some cash there.  I bought a 'special' set of mono's from Klaus at Odyssey.  They should be ready in early December.  Hopefully by then, I'll have sent and received back my SB from Wayne, got my new DAC, and have my new pre.

Will have to think about a mini get-together at my place soon.  Would like to wait till I get the speakers picked out and in place but have been pushing the budget lately.  May just have to listen on my Dyn's for a while.
